| 3The words of his mouth are wicked and deceitful; he has ceased to be wise and well-doing. | 3The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good. |
| 4Even on his bed he plots wickedness; he sets himself on a path that is not good; he fails to reject evil. | 4He plans wickedness upon his bed; He sets himself on a path that is not good; He does not despise evil. |
