| 1Be gracious to me, God, be gracious to me, for I take refuge in you. I will seek refuge in the shadow of your wings until danger passes. | 1Have mercy on me, God, have mercy, for in you I have placed my trust. Even in the shadow of your wings will I find my refuge until this calamity passes. |
| 2I call to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me. | 2I call upon the God Most High; to the God who completes what he began in me. |
