CSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
Hallelujah! Happy is the person who fears the LORD, taking great delight in his commands.1Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
His descendants will be powerful in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.2His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.3Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Light shines in the darkness for the upright. He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous.4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
Good will come to the one who lends generously and conducts his business fairly.5A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
He will never be shaken. The righteous one will be remembered forever.6Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
He will not fear bad news; his heart is confident, trusting in the LORD.7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
His heart is assured; he will not fear. In the end he will look in triumph on his foes.8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
He distributes freely to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted in honor.9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
The wicked one will see it and be angry; he will gnash his teeth in despair. The desire of the wicked leads to ruin.10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
