| 1"For look, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, when all the arrogant and everyone who commits wickedness will become stubble. | 5Look, I am going to send you the prophet Elijah before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes. | 5"Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD. |
| 6And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers.
