CSB Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger; do not discipline me in your wrath.1For the choir director; with stringed instruments, upon an eight-string lyre. A Psalm of David. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your wrath.
Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am weak; heal me, LORD, for my bones are shaking;2Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am pining away; Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are dismayed.
my whole being is shaken with terror. And you, LORD--how long?3And my soul is greatly dismayed; But You, O LORD-- how long?
Turn, LORD! Rescue me; save me because of your faithful love.4Return, O LORD, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your lovingkindness.
For there is no remembrance of you in death; who can thank you in Sheol?5For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol who will give You thanks?
I am weary from my groaning; with my tears I dampen my bed and drench my couch every night.6I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I dissolve my couch with my tears.
My eyes are swollen from grief; they grow old because of all my enemies.7My eye has wasted away with grief; It has become old because of all my adversaries.
Depart from me, all evildoers, for the LORD has heard the sound of my weeping.8Depart from me, all you who do iniquity, For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
The LORD has heard my plea for help; the LORD accepts my prayer.9The LORD has heard my supplication, The LORD receives my prayer.
All my enemies will be ashamed and shake with terror; they will turn back and suddenly be disgraced.10All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; They shall turn back, they will suddenly be ashamed.
