Christian Standard BibleNew International Version
How happy is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in his ways!1A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him.
You will surely eat what your hands have worked for. You will be happy, and it will go well for you.2You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house, your children, like young olive trees around your table.3Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
In this very way the man who fears the LORD will be blessed.4Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the LORD.
May the LORD bless you from Zion, so that you will see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life5May the LORD bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
and will see your children's children! Peace be with Israel.6May you live to see your children's children-- peace be on Israel.
