HCSB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleNew Living Translation
For the choir director. A psalm of the sons of Korah. Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with a jubilant cry. 1Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!
For Yahweh, the Most High, is awe-inspiring, a great King over all the earth. 2For the LORD Most High is awesome. He is the great King of all the earth.
He subdues peoples under us and nations under our feet. 3He subdues the nations before us, putting our enemies beneath our feet.
He chooses for us our inheritance-- the pride of Jacob, whom He loves. Selah 4He chose the Promised Land as our inheritance, the proud possession of Jacob’s descendants, whom he loves. Interlude
God ascends among shouts of joy, the LORD, among the sound of trumpets. 5God has ascended with a mighty shout. The LORD has ascended with trumpets blaring.
Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our King, sing praise! 6Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises!
Sing a song of wisdom, for God is King of all the earth. 7For God is the King over all the earth. Praise him with a psalm.
God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne. 8God reigns above the nations, sitting on his holy throne.
The nobles of the peoples have assembled with the people of the God of Abraham. For the leaders of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted. 9The rulers of the world have gathered together with the people of the God of Abraham. For all the kings of the earth belong to God. He is highly honored everywhere.
