Psalm 130
ISV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew International Version
1I cry to you from the depths, LORD,1A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
2Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears pay attention to what I ask of you! 2Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
3LORD, if you were to record iniquities, Lord, who could remain standing?3If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
4But with you there is forgiveness, so that you may be feared.4But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5I wait for the LORD; my soul waits, and I will hope in his word.5I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
6My soul looks to the Lord more than watchmen look for the morning— more, indeed, than watchmen for the morning.6I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is gracious love, along with abundant redemption.7Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
8And he will redeem Israel from all its sins.8He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
