2A good man will obtain favor from the LORD, But He will condemn a man who devises evil.2The good person obtains favor from the LORD, but He condemns a man who schemes.

9Better is he who is lightly esteemed and has a servant Than he who honors himself and lacks bread.9Better to be dishonored, yet have a servant, than to act important but have no food.
10A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal, But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.10A righteous man cares about his animal's health, but even the merciful acts of the wicked are cruel.
11He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, But he who pursues worthless things lacks sense.11The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks sense.
