Psalm 125
NASB Parallel HCSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995Holman Christian Standard Bible
1A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.1A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. It cannot be shaken; it remains forever.
2As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever.2Jerusalem--the mountains surround her. And the LORD surrounds His people, both now and forever.
3For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, So that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong.3The scepter of the wicked will not remain over the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous will not apply their hands to injustice.
4Do good, O LORD, to those who are good And to those who are upright in their hearts.4Do what is good, LORD, to the good, to those whose hearts are upright.
5But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD will lead them away with the doers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.5But as for those who turn aside to crooked ways, the LORD will banish them with the evildoers. Peace be with Israel.
