Psalm 23
NASB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995International Standard Version
1A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.1The LORD is the one who is shepherding me; I lack nothing.
2He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.2He causes me to lie down in pastures of green grass; he guides me beside quiet waters.
3He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.3He revives my life; he leads me in pathways that are righteous for the sake of his name.
4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.4Even when I walk through a valley of deep darkness, I will not be afraid because you are with me. Your rod and your staff—they comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.5You prepare a table before me, even in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.6Truly, goodness and gracious love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will remain in the LORD's Temple forever.
