Psalm 43
NASB Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995NET Bible
1Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!1Vindicate me, O God! Fight for me against an ungodly nation! Deliver me from deceitful and evil men!
2For You are the God of my strength; why have You rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?2For you are the God who shelters me. Why do you reject me? Why must I walk around mourning because my enemies oppress me?
3O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places.3Reveal your light and your faithfulness! They will lead me, they will escort me back to your holy hill, and to the place where you live.
4Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God.4Then I will go to the altar of God, to the God who gives me ecstatic joy, so that I express my thanks to you, O God, my God, with a harp.
5Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.5Why are you depressed, O my soul? Why are you upset? Wait for God! For I will again give thanks to my God for his saving intervention.
