| 3And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. | 3The person sitting there looked like jasper and carnelian, and there was a rainbow around the throne that looked like an emerald. |
| 4Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. | 4Around the throne were 24 other thrones, and on these thrones sat 24 elders wearing white robes and gold victor's crowns on their heads. |
| 5And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. | 10the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: | 10the 24 elders bow down and worship in front of the one who sits on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever. They throw their victor's crowns in front of the throne and say, |
| 11“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” | 11"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, because you created all things; they came into existence and were created because of your will." |
