Psalm 65
NLT Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationChristian Standard Bible
What mighty praise, O God, belongs to you in Zion. We will fulfill our vows to you,1Praise is rightfully yours, God, in Zion; vows to you will be fulfilled.
for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.2All humanity will come to you, the one who hears prayer.
Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.3Iniquities overwhelm me; only you can atone for our rebellions.
What joy for those you choose to bring near, those who live in your holy courts. What festivities await us inside your holy Temple.4How happy is the one you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple.
You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.5You answer us in righteousness, with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas.
You formed the mountains by your power and armed yourself with mighty strength.6You establish the mountains by your power; you are robed with strength.
You quieted the raging oceans with their pounding waves and silenced the shouting of the nations.7You silence the roar of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the tumult of the nations.
Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.8Those who live far away are awed by your signs; you make east and west shout for joy.
You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.9You visit the earth and water it abundantly, enriching it greatly. God's stream is filled with water, for you prepare the earth in this way, providing people with grain.
You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops.10You soften it with showers and bless its growth, soaking its furrows and leveling its ridges.
You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.11You crown the year with your goodness; your carts overflow with plenty.
The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy.12The wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills are robed with joy.
The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!13The pastures are clothed with flocks and the valleys covered with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing.
