NLT Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationNET Bible
Praise the LORD! How joyful are those who fear the LORD and delight in obeying his commands.1Praise the LORD! How blessed is the one who obeys the LORD, who takes great delight in keeping his commands.
Their children will be successful everywhere; an entire generation of godly people will be blessed.2His descendants will be powerful on the earth; the godly will be blessed.
They themselves will be wealthy, and their good deeds will last forever.3His house contains wealth and riches; his integrity endures.
Light shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.4In the darkness a light shines for the godly, for each one who is merciful, compassionate, and just.
Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly.5It goes well for the one who generously lends money, and conducts his business honestly.
Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered.6For he will never be upended; others will always remember one who is just.
They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the LORD to care for them.7He does not fear bad news. He is confident; he trusts in the LORD.
They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.8His resolve is firm; he will not succumb to fear before he looks in triumph on his enemies.
They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.9He generously gives to the needy; his integrity endures. He will be vindicated and honored.
The wicked will see this and be infuriated. They will grind their teeth in anger; they will slink away, their hopes thwarted.10When the wicked see this, they will worry; they will grind their teeth in frustration and melt away; the desire of the wicked will perish.
