| 3Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. | 3Do not trust in princes, or in human beings, who cannot deliver! |
| 4When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. | 4Their life's breath departs, they return to the ground; on that day their plans die. |
