18 So now, kill all the boys, as well as every woman who has had relations with a man, Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. 20 All of you who have killed a person or touched the dead are to remain outside the camp for seven days. On the third day and the seventh day you are to purify both yourselves and your captives. Encamp outside the camp seven days. Whoever of you has killed any person and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves and your captives on the third day and on the seventh day. And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify <i>both</i> yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day. And <i>as for</i> you, camp outside the camp for seven days; whoever has killed a person and whoever has touched <i>anyone</i> killed, purify yourselves, you and your captives, on the third day and on the seventh day. “Anyone who has killed someone or touched someone who was killed must stay outside the camp seven days. And everything that cannot withstand the fire must pass through the water. everything that can stand the fire, you shall pass through the fire, and it shall be clean. Nevertheless, it shall also be purified with the water for impurity. And whatever cannot stand the fire, you shall pass through the water. Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make <i>it</i> go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. everything that can withstand the fire, you shall pass through the fire, and it will be clean, only it shall be purified with water for impurity. But whatever cannot withstand the fire you shall pass through the water. and anything else that can withstand fire must be put through the fire, and then it will be clean. But it must also be purified with the water of cleansing. And whatever cannot withstand fire must be put through that water.
25 On the seventh day you are to wash your clothes, and you will be clean. After that you may enter the camp.” You must wash your clothes on the seventh day, and you shall be clean. And afterward you may come into the camp.” And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp. 27 “You and Eleazar the priest and the family heads of the congregation are to take a count of what was captured, both of man and beast. “Take the count of the plunder that was taken, both of man and of beast, you and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the congregation, Take the sum of the prey that was taken, <i>both</i> of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation: “You and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the fathers’ <i>households</i> of the congregation take a count of the spoils that were captured, both of people and of livestock; “You and Eleazar the priest and the family heads of the community are to count all the people and animals that were captured.
28 Then divide the captives between the troops who went out to battle and the rest of the congregation. and divide the plunder into two parts between the warriors who went out to battle and all the congregation. And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation: and divide the spoils between the warriors who went to battle and all the congregation. Divide the spoils equally between the soldiers who took part in the battle and the rest of the community.
29 Set aside a tribute for the LORD from what belongs to the soldiers who went into battle: one out of every five hundred, whether persons, cattle, donkeys, or sheep. And levy for the LORD a tribute from the men of war who went out to battle, one out of five hundred, of the people and of the oxen and of the donkeys and of the flocks. And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, <i>both</i> of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep: Also, collect a tribute tax for the LORD from the men of war who went to battle, one in five hundred of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the sheep; From the soldiers who fought in the battle, set apart as tribute for the LORD one out of every five hundred, whether people, cattle, donkeys or sheep.
30 Take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest as an offering to the LORD. Take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest as a contribution to the LORD. 31 From the Israelites’ half, take one out of every fifty, whether persons, cattle, donkeys, sheep, or other animals, and give them to the Levites who keep charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.” And from the people of Israel’s half you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the people, of the oxen, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the cattle, and give them to the Levites who keep guard over the tabernacle of the LORD.” And of the children of Israel's half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD. And from the sons of Israel’s half, you shall take one drawn from every fifty of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the sheep, from all the animals; and give them to the Levites who perform the duty of the tabernacle of the LORD.” From the Israelites’ half, select one out of every fifty, whether people, cattle, donkeys, sheep or other animals. And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.
