1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD, O my soul. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, my soul! Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, my soul.
2 I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
3 Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save. Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. 9 The LORD protects foreigners; He sustains the fatherless and the widow, but the ways of the wicked He frustrates. The LORD watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. The LORD watches over strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow, But He thwarts the way of the wicked. The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
10 The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Hallelujah! The LORD will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!
