Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength. For the music director; on stringed instruments. A Maskil of David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Is David not keeping himself hidden among us?” Save me, God, by Your name, And vindicate me by Your power. For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A maskil of David. When the Ziphites had gone to Saul and said, “Is not David hiding among us?” Save me, O God, by your name; vindicate me by your might.
Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth. O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth. Hear my prayer, God; Listen to the words of my mouth. Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.
For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life— men with no regard for God. Selah For strangers have risen against me; ruthless men seek my life; they do not set God before themselves. Selah For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah. For strangers have risen against me And violent men have sought my life; They have not set God before them. Selah Arrogant foes are attacking me; ruthless people are trying to kill me— people without regard for God.
Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul. Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them. He will return the evil to my enemies; in your faithfulness put an end to them. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth. He will pay back the evil to my enemies; Destroy them in Your faithfulness. Let evil recoil on those who slander me; in your faithfulness destroy them.
Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good. With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good. Willingly I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, LORD, for it is good. I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will praise your name, LORD, for it is good.
For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have stared down my foes. For he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies. For He has saved me from all trouble, And my eye has looked with satisfaction upon my enemies. You have delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.
