Psalm 70
Berean Literal Bible Par ▾

Hurry, O LORD, to Help Me!
(Psalm 40:1–17; Psalm 141:1–10)

1For the one directing. Of David. For remembrance.

1 O God, deliver me,

O YHWH, may You hurry—to help me!

2Let them be ashamed and confounded,

those seeking my soul;

let them be turned back and be disgraced,

those taking delight in my harm!

3Let them be turned back over the heel of their shame,

those saying, “Aha, aha!”

4Let all those seeking You rejoice

and be glad in You;

those loving Your salvation, let them say continually

“May God be magnified!”

5And I am lowly and needy;

O God, hurry to me!

You are my help and my deliverer,

O YHWH—do not delay!
