Good News Translation
The property of every Israelite will remain attached to his tribe.

so that no inheritance of the Israelites shall be transferred from one tribe to another; for all Israelites shall retain the inheritance of their ancestral tribes.

Tribal land must not be given to another tribe--it will remain the property of the tribe that received it.
