Corrupt (σαπρὸς)

That which is good (εἴ τις ἀγαθὸς)

Lit., if any is good. Discourse that is good, whatever it be.

To the use of edifying (πρὸς οἰκοδομὴν τῆς χρείας)

Lit., for the building up of the need. Rev., edifying as the need may be. Compare 1 Thessalonians 5:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:14.
