Those who shut their ears to the cries of the poor will be ignored in their own time of need.
A person who gets ahead by oppressing the poor or by showering gifts on the rich will end in poverty.
God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy.
Then the king called in the man he had forgiven and said, 'You evil servant! I forgave you that tremendous debt because you pleaded with me.
"Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.
