As the Amorites retreated down the road from Beth-horon, the LORD destroyed them with a terrible hailstorm from heaven that continued until they reached Azekah. The hail killed more of the enemy than the Israelites killed with the sword.
Our God approaches, and he is not silent. Fire devours everything in his way, and a great storm rages around him.
Fire spreads ahead of him and burns up all his foes.
You are dressed in a robe of light. You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens;
Let burning coals fall down on their heads. Let them be thrown into the fire or into watery pits from which they can't escape.
