Just as Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines arrived to attack Israel. But the LORD spoke with a mighty voice of thunder from heaven that day, and the Philistines were thrown into such confusion that the Israelites defeated them.
He will prepare his deadly weapons and shoot his flaming arrows.
He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds.
Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies' hearts. The nations fall beneath your feet.
Rebuke these enemy nations--these wild animals lurking in the reeds, this herd of bulls among the weaker calves. Make them bring bars of silver in humble tribute. Scatter the nations that delight in war.
