Psalm 1
CSB Parallel BSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleBerean Study Bible
1How happy is the one who does not walk in the advice of the wicked or stand in the pathway with sinners or sit in the company of mockers!1Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers.
2Instead, his delight is in the LORD's instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.2But his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.
3He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.3He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does.
4The wicked are not like this; instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away.4Not so the wicked! For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.
5Therefore the wicked will not stand up in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.5Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.6For the LORD guards the path of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
