My soul, bless the LORD, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.1A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
My soul, bless the LORD, and do not forget all his benefits.2Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
He forgives all your iniquity; he heals all your diseases.3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
He redeems your life from the Pit; he crowns you with faithful love and compassion.4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
He satisfies you with good things; your youth is renewed like the eagle.5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
The LORD executes acts of righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
He revealed his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel.7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love.8The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always accuse us or be angry forever.9He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our iniquities.10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his faithful love toward those who fear him.11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
For he knows what we are made of, remembering that we are dust.14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass--he blooms like a flower of the field;15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
when the wind passes over it, it vanishes, and its place is no longer known.16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
But from eternity to eternity the LORD's faithful love is toward those who fear him, and his righteousness toward the grandchildren17But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
of those who keep his covenant, who remember to observe his precepts.18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.19The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Bless the LORD, all his angels of great strength, who do his word, obedient to his command.20Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Bless the LORD, all his armies, his servants who do his will.21Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Bless the LORD, all his works in all the places where he rules. My soul, bless the LORD!22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
