Psalm 108
CSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being.1A Song or Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.2Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
I will praise you, LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.3I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
For your faithful love is higher than the heavens, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.4For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
God, be exalted above the heavens, and let your glory be over the whole earth.5Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
Save with your right hand and answer me so that those you love may be rescued.6That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
God has spoken in his sanctuary: "I will celebrate! I will divide up Shechem. I will apportion the Valley of Succoth.7God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is my helmet; Judah is my scepter.8Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
Moab is my washbasin; I throw my sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia."9Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?10Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
God, haven't you rejected us? God, you do not march out with our armies.11Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
Give us aid against the foe, for human help is worthless.12Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
With God we will perform valiantly; he will trample our foes.13Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
