Sing a new song to the LORD, for he has performed wonders; his right hand and holy arm have won him victory.1A psalm. Sing to the LORD a new song, for he performs amazing deeds! His right hand and his mighty arm accomplish deliverance.
The LORD has made his victory known; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.2The LORD demonstrates his power to deliver; in the sight of the nations he reveals his justice.
He has remembered his love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen our God's victory.3He remains loyal and faithful to the family of Israel. All the ends of the earth see our God deliver us.
Let the whole earth shout to the LORD; be jubilant, shout for joy, and sing.4Shout out praises to the LORD, all the earth! Break out in a joyful shout and sing!
Sing to the LORD with the lyre, with the lyre and melodious song.5Sing to the LORD accompanied by a harp, accompanied by a harp and the sound of music!
With trumpets and the blast of the ram's horn shout triumphantly in the presence of the LORD, our King.6With trumpets and the blaring of the ram's horn, shout out praises before the king, the LORD!
Let the sea and all that fills it, the world and those who live in it, resound.7Let the sea and everything in it shout, along with the world and those who live in it!
Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains shout together for joy8Let the rivers clap their hands! Let the mountains sing in unison
before the LORD, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world righteously and the peoples fairly.9before the LORD! For he comes to judge the earth! He judges the world fairly, and the nations in a just manner.
