Psalm 130
ESV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
English Standard VersionInternational Standard Version
1Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD!1I cry to you from the depths, LORD,
2O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy!2Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears pay attention to what I ask of you!
3If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?3LORD, if you were to record iniquities, Lord, who could remain standing?
4But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.4But with you there is forgiveness, so that you may be feared.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;5I wait for the LORD; my soul waits, and I will hope in his word.
6my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.6My soul looks to the Lord more than watchmen look for the morning— more, indeed, than watchmen for the morning.
7O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.7Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is gracious love, along with abundant redemption.
8And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.8And he will redeem Israel from all its sins.
