Psalm 130
ESV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
English Standard VersionNew Living Translation
1Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD!1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.
2O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy!2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
3If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
6my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
8And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
