| 12Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, | 12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; |
| 13bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. | 13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. |

| 24knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. | 24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. |
| 25For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality. | 25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. |
