33Midian's sons: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All of these were Keturah's sons. 33The descendants of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the descendants of Keturah.
34Abraham fathered Isaac. Isaac's sons: Esau and Israel. 34Abraham fathered Isaac. Isaac's descendants were Esau and Israel.

39Lotan's sons: Hori and Homam. Timna was Lotan's sister. 39Lotan's descendants were Hori and Homam. Lotan's sister was Timna.
40Shobal's sons: Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. Zibeon's sons: Aiah and Anah. 40Shobal's descendants were Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. Zibeon's descendants were Aiah and Anah.
41Anah's son: Dishon. Dishon's sons: Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran. 41Anah's descendant was Dishon. Dishon's descendants were Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
42Ezer's sons: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. Dishan's sons: Uz and Aran. 42Ezer's descendants were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. Dishan's descendants were Uz and Aran.
43These were the kings who ruled in the land of Edom before any king ruled over the Israelites: Bela son of Beor. Bela's town was named Dinhabah. 43Here's a list of kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the Israelis, beginning with Beor's son Bela (his city was named Dinhabah).
44When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah ruled in his place. 44After Bela died, Zerah's son Jobab from Bozrah succeeded him.
45When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites ruled in his place. 45After Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded him.
46When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, ruled in his place. Hadad's town was named Avith. 46After Husham died, Bedad's son Hadad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him. His city was named Avith.
47When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah ruled in his place. 47After Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him.
48When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the Euphrates River ruled in his place. 48After Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the Euphrates River succeeded him.
49When Shaul died, Baal-hanan son of Achbor ruled in his place. 49After Shaul died, Achbor's son Baal-hanan succeeded him.
50When Baal-hanan died, Hadad ruled in his place. Hadad's city was named Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-zahab. 50After Baal-hanan died, Hadad succeeded him. His city was named Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel. She was the daughter of Matred, who was the daughter of Me-zahab.
51Then Hadad died. Edom's chiefs: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 51Then Hadad died. The chiefs of Edom included the chiefs of Timna, Aliah, Jetheth,
52Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 52Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
53Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar, 53Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
54Magdiel, and Iram. These were Edom's chiefs. 54Magdiel, and Iram—these are the clans of Edom.
