Psalm 128
HCSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
1A song of ascents. How happy is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways! 1A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2You will surely eat what your hands have worked for. You will be happy, and it will go well for you. 2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house, your sons, like young olive trees around your table. 3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4In this very way the man who fears the LORD will be blessed. 4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5May the LORD bless you from Zion, so that you will see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life 5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6and will see your children's children! Peace be with Israel. 6Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.
