Psalm 108
HCSB Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Holman Christian Standard BibleNET Bible
A song. A Davidic psalm. My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being. 1A song, a psalm of David. I am determined, O God! I will sing and praise you with my whole heart.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn. 2Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn!
I will praise You, LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. 3I will give you thanks before the nations, O LORD! I will sing praises to you before foreigners!
For Your faithful love is higher than the heavens, and Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. 4For your loyal love extends beyond the sky, and your faithfulness reaches the clouds.
God, be exalted above the heavens, and let Your glory be over the whole earth. 5Rise up above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth!
Save with Your right hand and answer me so that those You love may be rescued. 6Deliver by your power and answer me, so that the ones you love may be safe.
God has spoken in His sanctuary:" I will triumph! I will divide up Shechem. I will apportion the Valley of Succoth. 7God has spoken in his sanctuary: "I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem, the valley of Succoth I will measure off.
Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine, and Ephraim is My helmet; Judah is My scepter. 8Gilead belongs to me, as does Manasseh! Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my royal scepter.
Moab is My washbasin; I throw My sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia." 9Moab is my wash basin. I will make Edom serve me. I will shout in triumph over Philistia."
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 10Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will bring me to Edom?
God, haven't You rejected us? God, You do not march out with our armies. 11Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.
Give us aid against the foe, for human help is worthless. 12Give us help against the enemy, for any help men might offer is futile.
With God we will perform valiantly; He will trample our foes. 13By God's power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.
