Holman Christian Standard BibleNET Bible
Davidic. I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing Your praise before the heavenly beings. 1By David. I will give you thanks with all my heart; before the heavenly assembly I will sing praises to you.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your constant love and truth. You have exalted Your name and Your promise above everything else. 2I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, because of your loyal love and faithfulness, for you have exalted your promise above the entire sky.
On the day I called, You answered me; You increased strength within me. 3When I cried out for help, you answered me. You made me bold and energized me.
All the kings on earth will give You thanks, LORD, when they hear what You have promised. 4Let all the kings of the earth give thanks to you, O LORD, when they hear the words you speak.
They will sing of the LORD's ways, for the LORD's glory is great. 5Let them sing about the LORD's deeds, for the LORD's splendor is magnificent.
Though the LORD is exalted, He takes note of the humble; but He knows the haughty from a distance. 6Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the lowly, and recognizes the proud from far away.
If I walk into the thick of danger, You will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend Your hand; Your right hand will save me. 7Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, you revive me. You oppose my angry enemies, and your right hand delivers me.
The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. LORD, Your love is eternal; do not abandon the work of Your hands. 8The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made!
