| 1Davidic. I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing Your praise before the heavenly beings. | 1By David. I will give you thanks with all my heart; before the heavenly assembly I will sing praises to you. |
| 2I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your constant love and truth. You have exalted Your name and Your promise above everything else. | 2I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, because of your loyal love and faithfulness, for you have exalted your promise above the entire sky. |
| 3On the day I called, You answered me; You increased strength within me. | 3When I cried out for help, you answered me. You made me bold and energized me. |
| 4All the kings on earth will give You thanks, LORD, when they hear what You have promised. | 4Let all the kings of the earth give thanks to you, O LORD, when they hear the words you speak. |
| 5They will sing of the LORD's ways, for the LORD's glory is great. | 5Let them sing about the LORD's deeds, for the LORD's splendor is magnificent. |

| 7If I walk into the thick of danger, You will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend Your hand; Your right hand will save me. | 7Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, you revive me. You oppose my angry enemies, and your right hand delivers me. |
| 8The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. LORD, Your love is eternal; do not abandon the work of Your hands. | 8The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made! |
