KJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleInternational Standard Version
Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.1Hallelujah! Sing a new song to the LORD, praising him where the godly gather together.
Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.2May Israel rejoice in its Maker, and Zion's descendants in their King!
Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.3May they praise his name with dancing, chanting songs to him with tambourines and lyres.
For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.4For the LORD is pleased with his people; he beautifies the afflicted with salvation.
Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.5May those he loves be exalted, singing for joy on their couches.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;6Let high praises to God be heard in their throats, while they wield two-edged swords in their hands
To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;7as they bring retribution to nations and punishment to peoples,
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;8binding their kings with chains, their officials with iron bands,
To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.9and executing the judgment written against them. This is honor for all the ones he loves. Hallelujah!
