KJV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.1A Psalm of Asaph. God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers.
How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.2How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah.
Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.3Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.
Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.4Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.5They do not know nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.6I said, "You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.
But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.7"Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes."
Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.8Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You who possesses all the nations.
