Psalm 99
KJV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
1The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.1The LORD reigns, let the peoples tremble; He is enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth shake!
2The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.2The LORD is great in Zion, And He is exalted above all the peoples.
3Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.3Let them praise Your great and awesome name; Holy is He.
4The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.4The strength of the King loves justice; You have established equity; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.
5Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.5Exalt the LORD our God And worship at His footstool; Holy is He.
6Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.6Moses and Aaron were among His priests, And Samuel was among those who called on His name; They called upon the LORD and He answered them.
7He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.7He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; They kept His testimonies And the statute that He gave them.
8Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.8O LORD our God, You answered them; You were a forgiving God to them, And yet an avenger of their evil deeds.
9Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.9Exalt the LORD our God And worship at His holy hill, For holy is the LORD our God.
