A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.1My soul, bless the LORD, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;2My soul, bless the LORD, and do not forget all his benefits.
Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases;3He forgives all your iniquity; he heals all your diseases.
Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;4He redeems your life from the Pit; he crowns you with faithful love and compassion.
Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.5He satisfies you with good things; your youth is renewed like the eagle.
The LORD performs righteous deeds And judgments for all who are oppressed.6The LORD executes acts of righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel.7He revealed his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel.
The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.8The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love.
He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.9He will not always accuse us or be angry forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.10He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve or repaid us according to our iniquities.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him.11For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his faithful love toward those who fear him.
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.12As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.13As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.
For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.14For he knows what we are made of, remembering that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.15As for man, his days are like grass--he blooms like a flower of the field;
When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer.16when the wind passes over it, it vanishes, and its place is no longer known.
But the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,17But from eternity to eternity the LORD's faithful love is toward those who fear him, and his righteousness toward the grandchildren
To those who keep His covenant And remember His precepts to do them.18of those who keep his covenant, who remember to observe his precepts.
The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all.19The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
Bless the LORD, you His angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!20Bless the LORD, all his angels of great strength, who do his word, obedient to his command.
Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, You who serve Him, doing His will.21Bless the LORD, all his armies, his servants who do his will.
Bless the LORD, all you works of His, In all places of His dominion; Bless the LORD, O my soul!22Bless the LORD, all his works in all the places where he rules. My soul, bless the LORD!
