Psalm 95
NASB Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New International Version
1O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD, Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.1Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.2Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
3For the LORD is a great God And a great King above all gods,3For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.
4In whose hand are the depths of the earth, The peaks of the mountains are His also.4In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5The sea is His, for it was He who made it, And His hands formed the dry land.5The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
6Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.6Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
7For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today, if you would hear His voice,7for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,
8Do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, As in the day of Massah in the wilderness,8"Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,
9"When your fathers tested Me, They tried Me, though they had seen My work.9where your ancestors tested me; they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10"For forty years I loathed that generation, And said they are a people who err in their heart, And they do not know My ways.10For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, 'They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.'
11"Therefore I swore in My anger, Truly they shall not enter into My rest."11So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'"
