Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his loyal love endures! 1O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
Let Israel say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!" 2Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Let the family of Aaron say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!" 3Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
Let the loyal followers of the LORD say, "Yes, his loyal love endures!" 4Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
In my distress I cried out to the LORD. The LORD answered me and put me in a wide open place. 5I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
The LORD is on my side, I am not afraid! What can people do to me? 6The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
The LORD is on my side as my helper. I look in triumph on those who hate me. 7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in people. 8It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
It is better to take shelter in the LORD than to trust in princes. 9It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
All the nations surrounded me. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away. 10All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away. 11They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
They surrounded me like bees. But they disappeared as quickly as a fire among thorns. Indeed, in the name of the LORD I pushed them away. 12They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
"You aggressively attacked me and tried to knock me down, but the LORD helped me. 13Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
The LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer." 14The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
They celebrate deliverance in the tents of the godly. The LORD's right hand conquers, 15The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
the LORD's right hand gives victory, the LORD's right hand conquers. 16The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
I will not die, but live, and I will proclaim what the LORD has done. 17I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
The LORD severely punished me, but he did not hand me over to death. 18The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
Open for me the gates of the just king's temple! I will enter through them and give thanks to the LORD. 19Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
This is the LORD's gate--the godly enter through it. 20This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
I will give you thanks, for you answered me, and have become my deliverer. 21I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
The stone which the builders discarded has become the cornerstone. 22The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
This is the LORD's work. We consider it amazing! 23This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
This is the day the LORD has brought about. We will be happy and rejoice in it. 24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Please LORD, deliver! Please LORD, grant us success! 25Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
May the one who comes in the name of the LORD be blessed! We will pronounce blessings on you in the LORD's temple. 26Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
The LORD is God and he has delivered us. Tie the offering with ropes to the horns of the altar! 27God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
You are my God and I will give you thanks! You are my God and I will praise you! 28Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his loyal love endures! 29O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
