Psalm 95
NET Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleNew International Version
1Come! Let's sing for joy to the LORD! Let's shout out praises to our protector who delivers us! 1Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2Let's enter his presence with thanksgiving! Let's shout out to him in celebration! 2Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
3For the LORD is a great God, a great king who is superior to all gods. 3For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.
4The depths of the earth are in his hand, and the mountain peaks belong to him. 4In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5The sea is his, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land. 5The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
6Come! Let's bow down and worship! Let's kneel before the LORD, our creator! 6Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
7For he is our God; we are the people of his pasture, the sheep he owns. Today, if only you would obey him! 7for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,
8He says, "Do not be stubborn like they were at Meribah, like they were that day at Massah in the wilderness, 8"Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the wilderness,
9where your ancestors challenged my authority, and tried my patience, even though they had seen my work. 9where your ancestors tested me; they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10For forty years I was continually disgusted with that generation, and I said, 'These people desire to go astray; they do not obey my commands.' 10For forty years I was angry with that generation; I said, 'They are a people whose hearts go astray, and they have not known my ways.'
11So I made a vow in my anger, 'They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.'" 11So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'"
