| 3as long as I have life within me, the breath of God in my nostrils, | 3for while my spirit is still in me, and the breath from God is in my nostrils, |
| 4my lips will not say anything wicked, and my tongue will not utter lies. | 4my lips will not speak wickedness, and my tongue will whisper no deceit. |
| 5I will never admit you are in the right; till I die, I will not deny my integrity. | 5I will never declare that you three are in the right; until I die, I will not set aside my integrity! |

| 13"Here is the fate God allots to the wicked, the heritage a ruthless man receives from the Almighty: | 13This is the portion of the wicked man allotted by God, the inheritance that evildoers receive from the Almighty. |
| 14However many his children, their fate is the sword; his offspring will never have enough to eat. | 14If his children increase--it is for the sword! His offspring never have enough to eat. |
