1Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of his faithful people.1Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song. Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful.
2Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the people of Zion be glad in their King.2O Israel, rejoice in your Maker. O people of Jerusalem, exult in your King.
3Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with timbrel and harp.3Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp.
4For the LORD takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.4For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.
