NKJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New King James VersionInternational Standard Version
Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.1Come! Let us sing joyfully to the LORD! Let us shout for joy to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.2Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us shout with songs of praise to him.
For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods.3For the LORD is an awesome God; a great king above all divine beings.
In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also.4He holds in his hand the lowest parts of the earth and the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land.5The sea that he made belongs to him, along with the dry land that his hands formed.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.6Come! Let us worship and bow down; let us kneel in the presence of the LORD, who made us.
For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:7For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture and the flock in his care. If only you would listen to his voice today,
“Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,8do not be stubborn like your ancestors were at Meribah, as on that day at Massah, in the wilderness,
When your fathers tested Me; They tried Me, though they saw My work.9where your ancestors tested me. They tested me, even though they had seen my awesome deeds.
For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.’10For forty years I loathed that generation, so I said, "They are a people whose hearts continuously err, and they have not understood my ways."
So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”11So in my anger I declared an oath: "They are not to enter my place of rest."
