| 4who said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying: ‘Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. | 4and said to him: "Run, tell that young man, 'Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of people and animals in it. |
| 5For I,’ says the LORD, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ” | 5And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the LORD, 'and I will be its glory within.' |
| 6“Up, up! Flee from the land of the north,” says the LORD; “for I have spread you abroad like the four winds of heaven,” says the LORD. | 6"Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north," declares the LORD, "for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven," declares the LORD. |

| 9For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me. | 9I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me. |
| 10“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” says the LORD. | 10"Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the LORD. |
| 11“Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. | 11"Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. |
| 12And the LORD will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem. | 12The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. |
