1To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!1Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!
2For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.2For the LORD Most High is awesome. He is the great King of all the earth.
3He will subdue the peoples under us, And the nations under our feet.3He subdues the nations before us, putting our enemies beneath our feet.
4He will choose our inheritance for us, The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah4He chose the Promised Land as our inheritance, the proud possession of Jacob’s descendants, whom he loves. Interlude
5God has gone up with a shout, The LORD with the sound of a trumpet.5God has ascended with a mighty shout. The LORD has ascended with trumpets blaring.

7For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.7For God is the King over all the earth. Praise him with a psalm.
