| 2So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. | 2Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, |
| 3Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude | 3though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah |
| 4A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High. | 4There is a river-- its streams delight the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High. |
