| 2So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. | 2Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; |
| 3Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! Interlude | 3Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. |
| 4A river brings joy to the city of our God, the sacred home of the Most High. | 4There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High. |
